The church of Weybread is called St Andrews which is in the diocese of St Edmundsbury and Ipswich.

It is a medieval church with one of only 38 round towers that exist in Suffolk.

You will find inside a memorial plaque to Suffolk’s first winner of the Victoria Cross, Alfred Ablett.

The entire west wall above the tower arch is filled with a painting of Christ the King.It has some beautiful stained glass windows.

The church was extensively restored in the 19th Century.
